If necessary, you can make a sling. Tie a pillowcase or shirt around a broken arm and then around the person’s shoulder.

4.Eye trauma

If your kid has intense pain, incessant tearing, blurry vision or light sensitive after being hit or poked in his eye, be quick to hold a wet, cool cloth over the area and bring him to the emergency room. After that, remember to check your kid’s pain and vision for weeks to see whether it might be a sign of traumatic iritis or a deeper injury.

For any scratch on his eye’s surface, you should treat it with ointment or prescription drops. If the chemical unluckily splashes in the eye, you need to hold his lid open, wash with lukewarm water, and call 911.

5.Cut or scrape

6.Electrical shock

The first important thing is not to touch the injured person because you don’t know whether he is still in contact with the electrical or not. Call 911 at once and then tack some necessary actions while waiting for medical help.


Find the electrical source and turn it off or move the source away from the person and you via availing a dry, nonconducting item made of plastic, cardboard, or wood. Start doing CPR  if the injured person has no signs of circulation such as breathing, movement, or coughing. Keep the person warm. Apply a sterile gauze bandage or a clean cloth on any burned sites. 7.Glass or splinter

For dealing with the splinter, use soap and water to wash around first. Soak a pair of tweezers in rubbing alcohol and gently pull the splinter out. Then wash the skin again. 8.Sprain or bad bruises

After that, take an elastic bandage and wrap to compress the area, but not too tight to block circulation. If necessary, you can splint the injury and avoid touching it or it might get injured further.

9.Insect stings or bites

If your child expresses some signs of a painful allergic reaction, call 911 or bring him to the emergency room instantly. If not, you also follow steps below to treat the insect bites or stings.


If the stinger is still embedded in his skin, gently eliminate it via scraping a flat-edged item such as a credit card across the skin. Don’t use tweezers because squeezing might deliver more venom. Rinse the site of the bite with clean water and soap. Put a pack of ice on this spot for 10 minutes to lessen swelling and pain. Don’t lay ice directly on the skin, remember?
